The new call for applications “SME Digitalization Voucher”

The Lazio Region presented, as part of the international event “Maker Faire 2024,” at the Gazometro Ostiense venue, the new call for applications “SME Digitalization Voucher,” aimed at supporting businesses intending to purchase digital technologies and services.

The total allocation, funded by the ERDF Lazio 2021-2027 Program, amounts to 13 million euros.

“With this call, we want to offer businesses in Lazio an opportunity to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation through digital transformation and consolidation. It is a strategic measure that involves various aspects of business operations, including process management, customer communication, data collection and analysis, online presence, data security, which facilitates access to new markets to reach a broader and international audience. The ICT market is constantly growing, and with this measure, which complements other actions implemented for credit and guarantees to businesses, we aim to support the productive system of Lazio to respond more effectively to the digitalization needs of sectors, with fast and simplified procedures,” stated Roberta Angelilli, Vice President of the Lazio Region and Councillor for Economic Development, Trade, Crafts, Industry, Internationalization.

The intervention is intended for SMEs registered in the Italian Business Register and active with an operational headquarters in Lazio. The latter can be acquired before the contribution is disbursed.

The maximum grant available is 50,000 euros for Micro Enterprises, 100,000 euros for Small Enterprises, and 150,000 euros for Medium Enterprises. The minimum grant disbursed cannot be less than 14,000 euros.

In particular, the planned contributions will cover:

  • Digital Diagnosis (only for SMEs)
    Mandatory for companies participating in the call, it assesses the level of digitalization and identifies, with independent experts, the appropriate technological investments.
  • Digital Workplace (for Micro Enterprises and SMEs)
    Funds the purchase of digital workstations to promote the use of technologies that increase productivity.
  • Digital Commerce and Engagement (for Micro Enterprises and SMEs)
    Offers contributions for the opening and/or expansion of digital platforms and channels, for marketing, commercialization, customer loyalty, and post-sales support services.
  • Cloud Computing (only for SMEs)
    Offers contributions for the purchase of digital storage spaces and online data management, to modernize IT infrastructures and reduce management costs.
  • Cyber Security (only for SMEs)
    Offers contributions to prevent potential cyber attacks and ensure a high level of security. The call will open in the first half of December 2024, until the second decade of January 2025, and is managed by Lazio Innova.
