Environmental Security and Technological Devices

The work of Environmental Analysis (electronic debugging) is an activity we perform for institutions, companies, and private individuals, wherever strategic information is handled, whose compromise could lead to significant economic and reputational damage.

The work consists mainly in searching for audio/video interception systems, usually concealed in environments frequented by the target subject to espionage, so the technique we use, also the result of years of experience in the field, is to follow this sequence of checks:

  1. Identification of hot spots, using the thermal camera
  2. Identification of non-linear junctions, i.e., the search for electronic circuitry
  3. Analysis of RF transmissions, with real-time spectrum analyzer
  4. Subsequently or in parallel, we use additional modules that allow us to control other research areas, such as infrared, magnetic field, microwaves, and others for searching GSM/LTE bugs and WiFi bugs with directional antenna.
  5. Analysis of PCs or mobile phones, unfortunately the simplest way to intercept a person is to do it through the network and infect the target’s device. To perform these checks, we use our own command-line techniques on PCs and always the Cellebrite UFED which has a search and localization function for all existing malware on any platform, Android, iOS, Nokia, RIM, etc.

The consultation (Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures) is offered with analysis and counter-surveillance activities thanks to the team’s experience gained over numerous years of activity always keeping pace with new technologies, for the following operational debugging techniques and analysis scenarios:

  • Acoustic/microphone threats
